{PMo6O24N4} subunit functionalized by organonitrogen through Mo–N bonds: hydrothermal synthesis, structure, photocatalytic, and fluorescence sensing properties

Abstract

Under hydrothermal conditions, a {PMo6O24N4}-based compound functionalized by 1,3-bis(1,3,4-triazole-1-methyl) benzene (btmbz) has been synthesized, namely {[Cd3(H2O)8]·[H4PMo6O24(btmbz)]2}·H2O (1). The Mo–N bonds assist the construction of the {PMo6O24N4} subunit. The photocatalytic and fluorescence sensing properties were studied.
