Copper-catalyzed hydride transfer from LiAlH4 for the formation of alkylidenecyclopropane derivatives

Abstract

The copper-catalyzed addition of LiAlH4 to cyclopropenylcarbinol leads to an easy and straightforward preparation of alkylidenecyclopropane derivative.
