X-Ray crystal structure of Sn6O4(OMe)4: an intermediate in the hydrolysis of tin(II) dimethoxide

Abstract

Sn6O4(OMe)4, isolated from the controlled hydrolysis of Sn(OMe)2, has an adamantane Sn6O4 skeleton with triply-bridging methoxy groups.
