First organic–inorganic hybrid materials with controlled porosity incorporating cyclam units

Abstract

The sol-gel process has been used to prepare new organic–inorganic hybrid materials with various textures from cyclam derivatives bearing four hydrolysable SiX3 groups (X = OEt, H) as well as from the corresponding CuII and CoII complexes of the cyclam derivative (X = OEt).
