Stereoselective Metal Catalysed Hydroboration of 4-Substituted 1-Methylidenecyclohexanes

Abstract

Rhodium catalysed hydroboration of 4-substituted 1-methylidenecyclohexanes gives cis-hydroboration products with high stereoselectivity; the effects of influencing the stereochemistry are discussed.
