[{Cu(bipy)(H2O)Pt(CN)4}2]·2H2O: the first synthesis and crystal structure of a discrete heterometallic square cyano-bridged compound with terminal cyano ligands

Abstract

The synthesis and crystal structure of a square cyano-bridged compound with terminal cyano ligands are presented together with a discussion of the influence of H2O molecules on the stability of the terminal cyanides and therefore on the discrete nature of the compound.
