Cellulose: a new bio-support for aqueous phase catalysts

Abstract

The choice of a hydrophilic bio-polymer, such as cellulose, as the support of the water soluble Pd(OAc)2/5 TPPTS system, leads to a new and efficient heterogeneous catalyst for the Trost Tsuji allylic alkylation reaction.
