Controlled hydrothermal synthesis of copper(ii or i,ii) coordination polymersvia pH-dependent in situ metal/ligand redox reactions

Abstract

Three new coordination polymers synthesized from a mixture of Cu(NO3)2, NaOH, 4,4′-bipyridine (4,4′-bpy) and 1,2,3-benzenetricarboxylic acid (1,2,3-btcH3) illustrate the pH dependence of in situ metal/ligand redox reactions.
