Abstract

Treatment of L2PdCl2 (L2 = 4,4′-di-tert-butyl-2,2′-bipyridine) with [(L′Au)3(µ3-O)]BF4 (L′ = PPh3) has yielded cationic oxo complexes with core formulas Pd2Au2O2 and Pd4AuO3 thereby doubling the number of structurally characterized Pd oxo complexes.
