Novel spin transition between S = [fraction five-over-two] and S = [fraction three-over-two] in highly saddled iron(iii) porphyrin complexes at extremely low temperatures

Abstract

A novel spin transition between S = [fraction five-over-two] and S = [fraction three-over-two] has been observed for the first time in five-coordinate, highly saddled iron(III) porphyrinates by EPR and SQUID measurements at extremely low temperatures.
