Synthesis and reactivity of tetrakis(imino)pyracene (TIP) ligands; bifunctional analogues of the BIAN ligand class

Abstract

The first two examples of a new class of bifunctional BIAN-type ligand have been prepared, and the reactions of one such ligand with CuBr2 and BCl3 have been explored.
