Hexagonal crystalline inclusion complexes of 4-iodophenoxy trimesoate

Abstract

Bifurcated I⋯π and I⋯O[double bond, length as m-dash]C halogen bonding interactions assist in formation of unique iodoarene trimers leading to nanoscale channels in inclusion complexes of trimesic acid iodophenolate.
