Mesoporous silica-catalysed continuous chemical fixation of CO2 with N,N′-dimethylethylenediamine in supercriticalCO2: the efficient synthesis of 1,3-dimethyl-2-imidazolidinone

Abstract

MCM-41- and HMS-type mesoporous silicas were found to be efficient catalysts for the continuous chemical fixation of CO2 into 1,3-dimethyl-2-imidazolidinone with N,N′-dimethylethylenediamine in supercriticalCO2.
