Abstract

The new catalyst system of chiral SalenCo(OAc)/chiral ionic liquid was developed to catalyze the asymmetric cycloaddition reaction of CO₂ and epoxides yielding the chiral cyclic carbonates. The synergistic effect between them is discussed.
