Organic conducting wire formation on a TiO2 nanocrystalline structure: towards long-lived charge separated systems

Abstract

Conjugated polymer monolayers have successfully been fabricated on a TiO2 nanocrystalline electrode by a lateral intermonomer charge transfer process, extending the photo-induced charge separated state lifetime by a factor of 50∼70.
