Syntheses and X-ray crystal structures of cationic, two-coordinate gold(i) π-alkene complexes that contain a sterically hindered o-biphenylphosphine ligand

Abstract

A number of cationic gold π-alkene complexes of the form {[P(t-Bu)2o-biphenyl]Au(π-alkene)}+SbF6 were isolated and three were analyzed by X-ray crystallography.
