Protein surface recognition by dendritic ruthenium(ii) tris(bipyridine) complexes

Abstract

We report protein surface binding of dendritic ruthenium(II) tris(bipyiridine) complexes to α-chymotrypsin, resulting in a 1 : 1 and 1 : 2 protein complex formation as well as inhibition of the enzyme activity.
