Light-induced formation of porous TiO2 with superior electron-storing capacity

Abstract

A light-inducing approach has been demonstrated for the preparation of porous TiO2 with a large number of stored electrons, which can provide an electron source for subsequent use in redox reactions and provide a spin source to achieve a new room-temperature ferromagnetic semiconductor.
