Lateral flow nucleic acid biosensor for Cu2+ detection in aqueous solution with high sensitivity and selectivity

Abstract

A lateral flow nucleic acid biosensor based on copper-dependent DNA-cleaving DNAzyme and gold nanoparticles has been developed for the visual detection of copper ions (Cu2+) in an aqueous solution with a detection limit of 10 nM.
