Interweaving isomerism and isomerization of molecular chains

Abstract

The silver(I) isopropylimidazolate crystallizes as three genuine interweaving supramolecular isomers, including a sinusoidal chain, a rare quintuple helix, and an unprecedented chicken-wire pattern. Heating transforms the chicken-wire into the quintuple helix through an interesting mechanism.
