Alkylstrontium diamidoboranes: β-hydride elimination and Sr–C insertion

Abstract

Alkylstrontium secondary amidoboranes are shown to undergo β-hydride elimination and Sr–C insertion reactions; observations which provide support for similar processes in d0-catalysed dialkylamine borane dehydrocoupling.
