Catalytic signal amplification of gold nanoparticles combining with conformation-switched hairpin DNA probe for hepatitis C virus quantification

Abstract

We report a new strategy for electrochemical detection of hepatitis C virus (HCV) based on the electrocatalytic signal amplification of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) combining with a conformation-switched hairpin DNA probe for improving selectivity.
