A simple template-free synthesis of ultrathin Cu2ZnSnS4nanosheets for highly stable photocatalytic H2 evolution

Abstract

Graphene-like Cu2ZnSnS4 nanosheets have been firstly prepared via a facile template-free approach. The products showed not only an interesting unilamellar structure with a thickness of only 2–3 nanometres but also high activity and stability for H2 evolution from aqueous solution containing S2− and SO32− even without loading any noble metals.
