Insertion of selenium, tellurium, or arsenic atoms into borane cage compounds using element oxide reagents

Abstract

The B11H14 ion reacts with NaHSeO3 or TeO2 in heptane–water to produce B11H11Se or B11H11Te and B10H12CH reacts with As2O3 to form 1,2-B10H10CHAs.
