Synthesis and characterization of 2,2,4,4-tetrafluoro-1,3-ditelluretane and -1-selena-3-telluretane via the intermediate difluorotelluroketone

Abstract

Difluorotelluroketone is made by reacting Hg(TeCF3)2 with Et2All and is characterized by its dimerization product F2[graphic omitted]e as well as by cocondensation with F2CSe to F2[graphic omitted]e; preliminary X-ray data for F2[graphic omitted]e are provided.
