Taco complex-templated dynamic clipping to cryptand-based [2]rotaxane- and [2]catenane-type mechanically interlocked structures

Abstract

Taco complex-templated dynamic clipping methodology was successfully employed to prepare cryptand-based [2]rotaxane- and [2]catenane-type mechanically interlocked structures based on a bis(m-phenylene)-32-crown-10/paraquat recognition motif with imine bond formation.
