Massive preparation of pitch-based organic microporous polymers for gas storage

Abstract

A general challenge for preparing organic microporous polymers (MOPs) is to use cheap and sustainable building blocks while retaining the advanced functions. We demonstrate a strategy to massively prepare pitch-based MOPs, which are thermally and chemically stable. A maximum BET surface area of 758 m2 gāˆ’1 and high gas storage capacity were achieved.
