A viologen-functionalized chiral Eu-MOF as a platform for multifunctional switchable material

Abstract

A novel viologen-functionalized chiral europium-based metal–organic framework (Eu-MOF) that possesses multi-switchable features including photochromism, photo-modulated luminescence, photoswitchable NLO and piezoelectric properties has been obtained for the first time.
