Flexible films of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)/carbon nanotube thermoelectric composites prepared by dynamic 3-phase interfacial electropolymerization and subsequent physical mixing

Abstract

Flexible films of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)/single-walled carbon nanotube (PEDOT:SWCNT) thermoelectric composites have been prepared by dynamic 3-phase interfacial polymerization and subsequent physical mixing. The SWCNT content greatly affects the thermoelectric performance of the composite. The maximum power factor reaches 253.7 ± 10.4 μW m−1 K−2, being one of the highest values for polymer-based thermoelectric composites.
