Three-component difluoroalkylation–thiolation of alkenes by iron-facilitated visible-light photoredox catalysis

Abstract

The first difluoroalkylation–thiolation of alkenes catalyzed by iron-facilitated photoredox has been developed. The Csp3–Csp3 and Csp3–S bonds were simultaneously constructed smoothly under mild conditions. The reaction exhibits a broad substrate scope of alkenes and thiols with good to excellent yields.
