A dual rigid donor and acceptor enabling red thermally activated delayed fluorescence emitters for efficient OLEDs with low efficiency roll-off

Abstract

Two new red TADF emitters with the integration of dual rigid donors and acceptors are elaborately designed. Electroluminescent devices employing them as emitting layers achieve a high external quantum efficiency (EQE) of approximately 20% at 621 nm, and low efficiency roll-off ratios of only 8% at 1000 cd m−2.
