Abstract

A series of luminescent organogold(III) diimine complexes have been synthesised and the crystal structures of [Au(bipy)(mes)2]ClO4(bipy = 2,2′-bipyridine, mes = mesityl) and [Au(phen)(CH2SiMe3)2]ClO2(phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) have been determined.
