Adsorption of small, positive particles onto large, negative particles in the presence of polymer. Part 2.—Adsorption equilibrium and kinetics as a function of temperature

Abstract

The effect of temperature, over the range 30–50°C, on the adsorption isotherms of small, positive particles onto large, negative particles, in the presence of poly(vinyl alcohol), has been studied. The kinetics of adsorption have also been investigated, again as a function of temperature, and a theoretical analysis of the kinetics is presented.
