2,3-Dihydro-3,6-dihydroxy-2-methyl-4-pyrone and curvularin from Penicillium gilmanii
Abstract
Chemical and spectroscopic evidence indicated a compound obtained from the culture filtrate of P. gilmanii to be 2,3-dihydro-3,6-dihydroxy-2-methyl-4-pyrone (I). Curvularin (II) was also present.
