An eco-friendly approach for the synthesis of α-aminophosphonates using ionic liquids

Abstract

Room-temperature ionic liquids are found to be efficient catalysts in promoting three component-coupling reactions of aldehydes, amines and diethyl phosphite in solvent-free conditions to afford the corresponding α–aminophosphonates in high yields with high selectivity.
