Inorganic–organic hybrid materials: construction of the first polymeric channelled halometallate(ii) system

Abstract

A macrocyclic ammonium cation (LH)+ (L = 1-aza-4,10-dithia-7-oxacyclododecane) has been used to control the assembly of a [PbCl3] polymeric anion within the inorganic–organic hybrid compound (LH) PbCl3 that adopts an unprecedented structure.
