Relaxation dynamics of the Fe8 molecular nanomagnet as probed by nuclear magnetic resonance

Abstract

The relaxation dynamics in molecular nanomagnets can be probed by measurements of NMR 1/T1. By modelling magnetoelastic interactions, we theoretically investigate the behaviour of the prototype Fe8 nanomagnet. The results of our model are in agreement with AC susceptibility and recent NMR measurements.
