CuboctahedralPdnanoparticles on WC for enhanced methanol electrooxidation in alkaline solution

Abstract

We report cuboctahedral Pd nanoparticles on WC synthesized by the polyol process using ethylene glycol with NO3 and Fe3+/Fe2+ ions. The cuboctahedral Pd/WC shows much improved electrocatalytic activity for methanol electrooxidation in alkaline solution.
