The chemistry of copper(I) complexes. Part I. Halogeno-complexes

Abstract

A new method of preparing halogenocopper(I) complexes by using tertiary phosphines as ligands and reducing agents is described. The complexes prepared have been treated with various mono- and bi-dentate ligands and structures assigned to the derivatives on the basis of their physical properties.
